With Japan being a very photogenic destination, we wanted to inspire budding photographers to travel to the autumn wonderland of Japan’s north.
Developing a campaign in partnership with Japan Airlines and Canon Australia called the ‘The Master’s Apprentice’ to drive traffic to the JNTO website and increase social media following and engagement to Japan. The objective was to provide aspiring Australian photographers the chance to pursue their once-in-a-lifetime photography trip through Hokkaido with Canon Master, Richard I’Anson.
The campaign resulted in millions of impressions, an increase in the social media engagement rate of over 7% and to top it off, a massive increase in YOY sales to Japan.
